Two photographers set out on a hot summer evening to express their creativity. They had nothing holding them back but their imagination. We walked through thigh-high Sumac, prickly thistles, and potentially some poison ivy (did I mention I'm severely allergic)? We freighted little creatures out of hiding and witnessed unknown critters running off through the field as we went. The only evidence of their existence was the leaves rustling as they scurried off and the sound of them chewing down a field thistle revealing their location. Eventually, we had the pleasure of an audience. A curious doe gracefully frolicked by and stopped to observe the disruption just a few yards away. (Regrettably, I wasn't able to get a photo). Though we had to deal with pesky mosquitoes, itchy ankles, and getting pricked by thorns, it was completely worth it! We took turns being in front of the camera, experimenting with different poses, props, and practicing our "model faces." (It makes it easy when your friend already looks like a model). We did our best to flex our artistic muscles and tried to take photos worthy of the cover of Vogue. I hope you enjoy our adventure as much as we did!
